SafeBond Cathodic Protection

Easy cable connection for cathodic protection with SafeBond® - The Zero Impact Connection

SafeBond® is a patented, battery-powered indirect bonding method developed by Safetrack, designed to create strong, safe, and durable electrical connections — without affecting the steel’s structure or integrity.

With its low operating temperature and advanced silver alloy, SafeBond® offers a unique combination of safety, precision, and simplicity. The process is fast, portable, and completely safe for both operator and material.

Key Advantages of SafeBond®:

  • Low temperature – even lower than the PinBrazing method and significantly lower than thermite welding
  • No steel melting – unlike thermite welding, SafeBond® does not affect the base material
  • No metallurgical impact – safe for all steel structures and alloys
  • Fast process – each bonding takes only a few seconds
  • Lightweight and portable – the Econect© unit weighs less than 10 kg
  • Operator safety – controlled, spark-free process

The patented SafeBond® system, developed and perfected by Safetrack, has proven its superiority for over a decade. It remains the only cable bonding method in the world approved for use on the hardest premium rails in the railway industry.

Now, this advanced technology is also introduced to the cathodic protection industry, where increasing demands and new materials call for more reliable and metallurgically safe solutions.

With SafeBond®, pipeline owners gain a fast, safe, and future-proof method to protect their infrastructure — from connection to corrosion control.
